I aired up the tires and went for a ride.

78 miles later I got home and put the bike on stands and washed her. It was cold and windy, but I really needed to get the rainy weather crud and road salt off of her. As usual, I used Meguir's Gold Car Wash; it works great. She looks great now; too bad the weather is supposed to be lousy for the next week.
But at least we had a sunny day with 48*F temps, not bad for this part of Washington in January!!!

Broke off a front header bolt in the head. Don't know how I'm going to get it out because I can't spend any money on it. Guess I'll try PB Blaster and heat cycling with my heat gun.

Yep... I soaked all the bolts I'd be taking out in PB Blaster a couple days ago. None of these bolts had ever been messed with in the 5.5 years and 32k miles I've ridden it; the rear header clamp bolt came out easy and one of the header bolts came out easy, as well, but not the other. I've been thinking about it for the past hour or so and, because it broke off with about 5mm showing above the surface, I think I'm going to try welding another bolt or stud to it and just leave it that way, not trying to remove it. We're talking about hardened steel frozen in there.
