I picked a bad spot to park. The strong winds pushed it over and broke my bar end mirror. On the plus side, this was at my mechanic's where badly needed new tires were finally put on.

 

So far I've just watched it thoroughly test it's cover. Nothing but rain in my neck of the woods for the past 3/next 4 days. If I had a garage i'd be tweaking the suspension.

Installed Bikemaster Drag Bars to replace the ugly dirt bike bars that came on the bike.

Also installed some "Ride It Moto" gold anodized CNC shorty levers. Nice quality and amazingly fast shipping coming from China, like 3 working days.

Waiting for my bar end mirrors now.....

 

Installed my new rearset raisers. Much betta' now!

 

I'll be riding it to my motorcycle safety class...then hoping on some slow bikes to "learn".

 

Hit 155mph on a Loooonnng straight away with open fields. That was on my bucket list...Not ever doing that again..6th gear 10k rpms...Slightly brown undies lol

 

I installed PAIR block off plates that I got from TPO parts. The instructions were very generic, but the plates were very well made and the hardware was quality stuff, which is all I really needed.

Took about 40 minutes. I yanked all of the hoses out and capped the PAIR valve outlet with a supplied cap.

The main reason I did it is because the PO had somehow disabled the system, but left the hoses on. I got a lot of condensation buildup in the rear hose, right on top of the reed valve. I found out about the condensation when I checked the valves. So that's fixed.

Now I'm out of projects!

In the last few weeks I've installed a filter adapter so I can use Pure One filters, flushed and bled the brakes, flushed and refilled the radiator, synced the throttle bodies, checked the TPS, added a fender eliminator and now installed the block off plates.

I guess I'll have to think up some more stuff to do.

I forgot: I changed out the chain and sprockets, too!

Rolled it out of the way so I could finish installing a new right side radiator and hoses on the KTM.

I promised it I would clean it and go for a ride tomorrow.

Its Spring Gave it a chain clean and wax and one of "those"cleaning sessions that involved a toothbrush haha. Its now sitting gleaming and twinkling......if only this **** rain would stop!

It was a few days ago but, for the first time changed all 4 spark plugs and the coolant after almost 30k :sbmfacepalm:. Also cleaned and re-oiled my k&n that I took out a few months back because it was dirty and I was lazy and just put the stock filter back in (it was still in good shape). Cleaned and lubed the chain with some dupont chain lube.

 

Lubed the chain and clutch line. Oh man, my clutch lever feels like a normal clutch again!

Removed the clip type master link and installed the RIGHT one. Rivets forever beeches. I'm not letting a 7$ part have a chance at taking me out

Installed a ZX14 rear shock. Of course as I usually do, I had a momentary lapse of reason along the way. I used a heavy duty ratchet strap to suspend the rear end. I had to run out to get a longer bottom shock bolt though. So thinking it might be better to get the bike down on the stand a bit while I was gone, I released the ratchet strap... Doh. Without the dogbones the tail dropped like a ton of bricks. Smushed my license plate real good. :facepalm: Idiot.

I rode with my friend on her 94 Honda Rebel and took this route. 160 miles of mostly twisties, although it also included huge potholes, a suicidal deer and wiener dog and several pretty gnarly gravel one-lane sections. Oh, and we also saw a fish carcass with a foot-long head (that part was still identifiable), but this was at ~1200' elevation with no water in sight. Hmm.

 

not today but yesterday. mocked up a gsxr master cylinder and gsxr clutch perch to take the lockhart phillips levers i got from luis. had to drill out the mount on the lever to fit the sleeve on the perch. the sleeve is now press fit into the lever. fisihed product:

Bought her a Corbin seat! ... Ok maybe that was more for me... Oh and got a new Jacket though that was definitely for me!

 

I have a very nice, little used Corbin pillion to go along with that new pilot's seat! PM me if you're interested (I actually have the front, as well.....but it looks like you've handled that on your own.)

Finally got my swingarm sliders on the bike after them sitting here for a few weeks. Got the frame sliders on last week. Had to buy a new battery for her too but now shes def road ready again!
