Took the Lee Park's riding school today on it, in the rain most of the day.

I made my SV get me a speeding ticket....

Nice new set of rear brake pads and a Crampbuster cruise control.

Got her inspected and rode around for a couple of hours.

Changed the oil and filter, checked and oiled the chain, almost tipped it over getting it off the rear stand, rode it.

*edit*
Also tossed on some Aztec8 mirrors I just got in the mail, and plugged the holes from the previous mirrors.

This is more of what "I did FOR your SV today."

1. ordered .90 sonic springs
2. ordered Galfer bs lines for front rear and pads :icon_bounce:

Got my endorsement today (finished the course over the weekend)...rode the Suzi for the first time on "busy" streets--then to work, to get coffee, to lunch, and back to work. Can't wait to ride again...having a tough time working for some reason.

Talked with another motorcyclist at the place I was having lunch...his first bike was an SV as well.

Sold It... well, sorta... i never actually had an SV. but i found someone to buy the one i've had in my garage for almost a year (my brother's).

i am sad to see it go, but it was bought by a friend so that's good. i was actually very nervous (surprisingly nervous) that it was going to get dropped as he learned how to ride, but he did great. i think he's visited SVR and i assume he'll join up in due time.

a.s.

Fixed my left mirror by putting in another bolt that I ground the head down on to fit a little tighter in the handlebar.Worked just fine.Although that's what I thought about it the first time until I got on the road.Definitly fits tighter.Should do the trick.;D

I lubed the chain yesterday and can't wait to give it a good ole fashioned soap n water bath this weekend. I usually use spray polish and shine and I will after it drys then back to the waterless routine.
