Replaced a dead battery and aired up the tires, then went for a little ride and topped off the petrol on my way home.

Man, does your radiator just look bigger because you don't have the fairing? I like the look of your topcase on yours. I went with the givi rack because I planned on getting the sidecases as well...but the dang thing is so big, not sure i need them..lol.

I like that svrider sticker. Where do you get those at?

I've got 2 stickers left - first 2 to PM me their address (United States only sorry) gets them - 1 each.

The 2003-04 models had a wider radiator than the 2005+ ones.

It's kinda goofy-looking. That's why I call her Rufus the Blue SV. ;D

found out yesterday that it's easy to get the fan to come on in 50 degree weather

fin jerry jones ruining the already horrible traffic in arlington

just passed 3 months and nearing 5000 miles on the oil, maybe it's time to change it

First I put a eastern beaver 3 circuit fuse panel for gerbing plug, heated grips, and a bmw power port plugin. Then bikemaster daytona handlebars with a corbin seat. To top it off I went for a ride. The bike feels totally different in a very good way.

Transferred the title, got it inspected, got it registered, and got a plate on it. Then rode all over the place.

orderd some nice rear sets, new renthals (replace bent ones) brake lines, banjo switch removed the packing from the high level can just for fun :D, fitted R&G crash bungs

so what do ya think so far?
I'm in love. Second best purchase, ever. I'm going to play with the TPS adjustment this weekend and whenever the TRE gets here, I'm going to put that in. I've noticed the significant engine braking. It's not terrible with the .90 Sonic Springs in the front, but if it's smoothed out a bit in the first few gears, I'm alright with that.

My Jeep is getting some welding done over the last few days, so I had to ride to see a client today and it's in the 40s again, but very damp/humid out, so it feels cooler, but other than my hands, I'm good. I need something other than the gloves I wore in the summer for MOUT training in the Marine Corps, but it's all I have right now. I'm waiting to pick up "real" riding gear until after Christmas. My parents said something about getting me some stuff as gifts, so I'll just wait and see.

I'm very pleased with the upright riding position while still having a bike that pulls and corners like it does. It's very comfortable to ride but it definitely has a smile on my face, pretty much all the time. I'm looking forward to not having to look so hard for all the gravel on the roads for the winter weather.
