Actually, I will be doing exactly that, as the garbage truck won't take tires and a board member is changing them for me, not a shop. No disposal fee = no disposal, and I'm not going to simply toss it over a hillside. Eventually a local bike shop will leave their fence open, and I'll nonchalantly add it to their stack of old tires
Know anyone with kids?

Topped the oil and lubed the chain, then rode home in the rain for an hour...no gloves...wasn't that cold. Waited for the 325 to kick in, but it never did...so either my spark plug/boot treatment worked or it just wasn't wet enough...can't wait till the next big storm to find out! woohoo!

sanded one side of the rim down so its sooper smooth, removed rear wheel obiously cleaned swing arm fixed chain tension mech as it was bent. to day im going to sand the other side of the wheel and remove brake pads from rear and grease the slide rods and pistons

Changed back to street-legal setup.
Switched to GP shift to try that out again.
Tightened steering stem - seemed to get a couple clunks here and there recently.
Test ride tonight to bike night - haven't been there in forever because it's forlame.

Changed the oil and filter, installed a buffer and spacer between where the exhaust mounts on the bottom (buffer was broken, spacer was missing), adjusted the air pressure, added spools, removed and greased the axle, replaced the cotter pin with a hitch pin... lotsa little stuff. I also ordered some gear for winter.

I have ordered my Jardine Fender Eliminator, but haven't gotten it yet. Today I couldn't even ride it because of the rain today. This weekend will be another story.

hows the 2009 ZX14 Shock on your SV, I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Any install issues. Hows the ride??

Installed Intiminators (upgrades front forks) for those who don't know
New set of tires (Dunlop Roadsmarts)
And new shock (ZX-14) from a '09

Rode the bike a little bit....can't wait till next week (tuesday to be more exact) to actually test everything as I'll be doing a long ride.

Installed OEM FE + rear seat cowl.

Then took some parts off to do some more work.

Said a prayer to the weather gods that we get a few more days of decent temperatures so I can get a bit more riding in before putting it away for winter.

**** Michigan weather!

Cleaned up my storage unit so I can put the bike back in there, plus do some work on it and keep it out of the elements.

Then cut off the stock can and installed the new Delk Stubby.

Tomorrow I hope to put on the new Pazzo levers, work on my seat cowl, figure out what I need for brackets for a belly pan, and possibly put on some new grips. Might reinstall the Duc fairing as well.

Tried not to rev it too much, since I'm not really supposed to do shop type work at my storage unit, which backs right up to a bunch of folks back yards. Figure complaints about on a Saturday night probably wouldn't go over too well. Wish I could have ridden some with the straight pipe, but probably better I didn't.

Prepped it for a trip to the CMRA races tomorrow at Texas World Speedway. Oil, filter, chain, and swap back to my street tires.
