Cut the template for a DIY FE on 24 gauge sheet metal. Used electric sheers. Smooth like buttah. Tonight, creating the license plate/signal bracket.

bled my squishy front brake. back to good.

Temporarily fixed my signals, final fix to come tomorrow when I solder in a whole new right side circuit. Problem was chafed wire somewhere between the switch connector and the the headlight bucket where the wire splits in three. Rather than tear up the whole harness, just bypassing it and adding my own wiring.

Everything should be put back together in working order sometime tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Yesterday was a fresh K&N Oil Filter, and some Rotella 5w40 Synthetic, as well as a wash and ***ken Wax.

Today, a new R6 Throttle tube, and ProGrip 768 gel grips.

Added integrated turn signals in headlight housing, flush mount smoked led turn signals in stock front turn signal stalks location. LED turn signal controller to go on tomorrow.

Went to the movies (Inglorious *******s, mixed feelings about it)
Went to the UPS store picked up my Icon Sub Dermal Gloves (Super comfortable)
Prepping the bike and my self for a preliminary journey to Key west.

today was my last day with my SV. i rode her. i rode the **** out of her. i miss her.

i noticed that it's leaking oil from somewhere close to the airbox. valves/tappets are ticking. way too much slack in the chain and one kink in it. it's impossible to shift into neutral with the bike on, so time to change the oil.

i leave for college 2 states away tomorrow, u of montana in missoula. i would like to pull the battery. change the oil and filter. clean airbox and filter. but i don't think any of that will happen as i have ultimately ran out of time.

idk... i think with some paint it actually looks pretty bad ass
Yeah....after some bodywork to close in the belly pan and maybe reengineer that tail section.

Oh..beside the fact that a strap broke on a second bike on my trailer, causing the second bie to call into mine:( So, the gel coat is cracked:(

Finished rewiring the turn signals, burned my hand on my soldering iron, then left the ignition switch on while putting the rest of the bike back togehter, draining the battery. Pulled the battery, went and bought a charger, and it's now charging in my room. She should be rideable again by sometime tomorrow, can't wait to be finished with this crap.

Good thing military pilots don't have to work on their own aircraft! ;D

Good luck in flight school!
