Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Yes, I actually did something on my SV besides farting on the seat.
I installed some Vstrom handguards which should go nicely with the heated grips already on there. Actually, they have been excellent in the mildly cold weather so far!

replaced my fan switch. turns on at 220, off at 198, then back on again at 224, off at 220, back on at 230, off at 227. I really don't like it going that high.
I just changed my oil. Apparently when the last owner had the oil changed, he had the filter welded on :angry4: After no luck with hand strength or strap wrenches, I found the next best thing. Since I had no set of pliers with short enough grips to get good leverage, I pulled out the C-clamp. Squeezed that bas**** tight till it bent in, and forced it off. Good times.
Got the radiator cover on. Looks cool.
Cant see it but just did the R6 throttle tube. Makes a little difference when on longer highway trips so you dont have to adjust your grip so often.
The exhaust wrap is also recent. The wrap definetly cuts down on heat rising up off the pipes at stop lights, plus it looks cool.

Road her in a downpour. First one with me as the owner. Got her all wet..hehehehe. She was sliding all over the place.
Yet again, rode her to work. Waiting on my .90 Sonic Springs and 20wt to come in then she'll be w/ the mechaninc getting those put in and the SuperLite sprockets put on too.
Prepped everything for the rebuild and finished draining the gas tank :facepalm::facepalm:
Went out and loosened my rear axle nut and torqued to proper specs after reading post by donteatbugs. LOL.
i ordered a new set of fiber clutch plates and sandblasted the glaze off of the steel ones
I lubed the chain and cleaned the wheels. A 1/2 mile of dirt and gravel road, due to construction has been trashing out my wheels for a couple of weeks now. They look good now; tomorrow more dirt and filth. 
I can't wait til they get the new road finished!

Topped her little butt out messing with my buddy on the highway... well, pretty much topped out. Indicated 128... so yeah, as fast as she'll go. Been a long time since I went that fast on it, that wind beats the sh!t out of me! Makes it very unstable feeling in the bars.... won't be doing that again.

Changed out the stock front pads for some new HH ones. Also installed SS brake lines and my new much smaller reservoir, a new R6 throttle tube and new grips. Got my Cortech Sport Tailbag and threw that on. Still need to change out the plugs - should be arriving special courier from New York any minute - and put in the new air filter.
