Wow, what a difference. The wider rear part of the seat is so much better, my butt didn't hurt when I got to work this morning.

 

Took apart the integrated tail light to figure out where the ballast resistor that was rattling around the bottom came from. Well, they glued the crap outta the wiring and boards so you can't really service it without tearing it apart....so after breaking some wires and solder points and re-soldering them, I found out one side of the tail/brake lights didn't work and I was getting hot...so I said screw it, and swapped the clear lense of my integrated with the red lense of my stocker and put my stocker back on.

I like the look much better. I'm gonna order some more 10mm LEDs and rebuild the other tail light into a red-only integrated brake/tail/turn light.

 

Annual safety inspection. I'm legal again!

 

changing the oil as we speak. it's draining.

 

Rode her to work at 530am this morning. High 40's and no sun really wakes you up first thing in the morning.

 

Did an oil change.

 

Replaced a bad LED in my left pass peg so now it lights up nice and bright again. Yay!

 

installed seat cowl...removing upper cowl to start N conversion.

 

Installed a Scorpion Street Extreme slip-on exhaust.

 

Installed woodcraft clip ons with a three inch rise.

 

Finally got around to changing my fork springs and oil. I put in the .85 Sonic springs with 15w fork oil. The bike now feels more stable. Apart from the obvious less dive on braking there's a much better feel at lean while cornering.

 

installed a new R/R and a full LED system under the bike. Now I'm a big squid

 

Nothing to the SV per se', just built some shelves in the garage to try and organize for the upcoming winter. Hoping to start work on the CB (getting a parts bike next weekend) and do some TLC to the SV. Hung up the last of the drywall to cover the insulation on the walls, organized SV stuff from piles everywhere onto two shelves, a shelf for CB parts, and started tackling the workbench that had been a dumping ground for anything and everything all summer long.

hope to get some sort of ceiling in place and hook up the heater before snowfall.

Anyone need two 24x36 pieces of heavy copyboard glass or a high end mirror of the same size? Don't remember where they came from, but I have them, and they're in my way.

 

Removed exhaust to start cutting it down.

 

Took it for a 7 hour ride... Ouchie... It's not a touring bike afterall.

 

Installed my moto-sliders and did an oil change.

i could say it feels smoother but i'm just guessing, the exhaust did sound slightly louder at idle. i've yet to have enough time to play with it switched on and off but i should try it

 

changed the oil and filter, cleaned the air filter and airbox on friday.

today i synced my throttle bodies. much better now! also new spark plugs in the holes. feels good to keep ahead of maintenance intervals.

 

Cleaned off the dirt and bugs. The last 1/4 mile of road to work has been torn out and I have to ride wet gravel/mud. A water truck wets it down several times a day to keep the dust down. Oh boy. It gets reeeeally dirty.

Looked at it, checked the oil level.

 

got/Strapped a camp stove to the back seat (was on blowout for 5$!) Checked the tire pressure. and lubed the chain.

 

I stared at it a lot today, hoping I balanced my TBs correctly...lol. Oil change and recheck my TPS hopefully tomorrow.

 

Rode it to work again.

 

made a switch plate on the upper tripple and installed hand warmers so i can ride in the winter.
