Cleaned everything real good since i have it all apart. Marked the cams to prep for the swap (finally parts are coming tomorrow). Removed the tensioners. Stared at it some more.

I just picked one up as part of a set from AutoZone. It also had a 14 and a 17 mm for 11.99 plus tax.Spent all morning trying to find an allen wrench to fit the front axle, so I could replace the speed sensor. Never did find one, so I tried to find a bolt with a 12mm head, didn't find one of those either. They were all either 10 or 13mm nothing in between, so now I'm just going to order one.
Also cleaned, lube and adjusted the chain.

No AutoZone around here
the closest one I think is about 40mi away. I went to Orielly's, Advanced Auto, Lowes, Napa, and both of the hardware stores here in town.I just ordered a allen socket from McMaster Carr for $11

just finished oil/filter change. i changed both tail bulbs since one went out. then i washed and waxed.

Went to Pure Tuning to get new Yellow Light Bulbs and then came home and put them in, then went and did a photo shot at a closed road...then went to subway and came home and put her to Bed!

First oil and filter change since I got my SV. It was the first time I ever changed the oil on anything. It was pretty easy and went well. Suzuki filter and Rotella 5W-40.

Drove mine in to work this morning.... stopped at a Rotten Ronnies (aka McDicks) and was told they do not serve Motorcycles at the drive through...
I've been going through drivethroughs at many different McDicks shops and other places with the window.... this is the first time some knob tried to tell me no motorcycles....
Unless this semi retarded immigrant kid doesn't understand english well enough to determine the difference between BICYCLE and MOTORCYCLE
I've heard of walk ups and bicycles not being allowed to use the drivethrough... but never motorcycles...
fuggin w@nkers..... ah well I guess I'll stick to Tim Hortons in the morning... the price is the same but it is a better product....

I've had that happen to me too. I even had a passenger who was doing the transaction and the lady said we had to go inside.

Mc-D's sucks (except for the coffee) and I always prefer to go inside than through the drive-through anyway.
You could always have made it more trouble than it was worth for them, insist to see a manager then insist to see the policy in writing
yeah.. I just wanted a couple egg mcmuffins... you know the ones that actually use a real egg and not that powdered crap... I'm not the biggest fan of most other McDicks stuff....
Can't stand their coffee though... good thing... I'd imagine it'd be hard to hold that between the legs and drive at the same time

Installed new Race Tech fork springs and 20W fork oil over the weekend. Put on a full set of leathers, took the SV over Ortega Highway to work this morning. God my life does not suck.
