Nope isn't me with the bike. The photographers wanted him to use my jacket and gloves. So I told him they are sweaty and stink but if it helps get what your going after IDK. I think they were some students or something like that. I was told they don't really get paid much for this kind of thing. It's just to get some proofs and experience. I gave the club my info also so I can get some pictures to see how they turned out. These ones I just took.

got some new toys for the SV today. triple clamp, washer, spacer, and nut are for my gsxr front end

I syncronized my throttle bodies with a digital vaccumm guage- bike runs so much smoother, less vibrations at stop lights, all in all well worth the hour-
manual says to do it every 7500 miles, throughly recommended!

picked it up off the ground where some ******* knocked it over in my condo parking lot. gasoline spilled on my nearly brand new diablo stratas, and soaked in for several hours so they will need to be replaced. ******* peice of **** neighbors.

Examined the damage to the bike caused from leaning it over to far at the track Saturday. Nope, it wasn't crashing. It would have helped had I been hanging off the bike further, as I should, instead of just a 1/4 butt and having my head and upper body just a bit further than that. I think I scraped up the muffler that day, too.

Also, returning it to street attire: blinkers, lights, plate, etc.

ShaggyZ, Do you have a picture with your helmet on and your beard hanging out?

I don't see any beard action in the track photo?
I'm down to small beard now, thinking of shaving it off again. I don't think I have a picture anywhere of the bear coming out of the helmet as I don't take many pictures.

Nothing done to the bike, but I did order a new HJC IS-16 helmet from Newenough ;D

does completely missing a corner while trying to avoid oil? then running off the road into the grass? falling smacking your helmet off the pavement and rolling in the mud like a pig in sh!t? completely losing your nerve to maybe ever ride again? then thinking "well, i'm still paying for the bike. so maybe I should keep riding?" seeing the look on mrs. free range veal's face when I told her I went down, again (second time this month) knowing that she does not like the bike at all because of the danger factor? twisting the radiator, possibly breaking the fan (haven't had the heart to check), twisting the bars, possibly bending them (haven't had the heart to check) count?
cause that's what I did to my sv yesterday.

and I wasn't even riding like a schmuck. just trying to get home from work and enjoying myself on the way

oh and if any of you are the lady that stopped to ask if I was ok, thank you. and Joe, who let me use your driveway to see if everything was in working order for the ride home, thank you too

if I posted this in the wrong spot sorry. I didn't want to start another pity party thread.

Just changed the headlight bulbs, since the left side brights went out. my last set of Sylvania SilverStar lasted me about 14,000 miles (or about 1.5 years). BTW, if you are going to change the bulb, don't do it right after you ride. The right side bulb, the one that was working, was HOT!!!!! OUCH!!!!

let me know how you like the inner shades. i'm thinking about getting the same lid.

I started prepping it for the track...took off the lights, mirrors and other miscelaneous non essential items. Got some used race fairings on the way that will be going on. Still need to do a carb sync and chain maintenance though.
