I stuck a Holeshot High Mount on it!

you'll notice that I'm still wearing the 8 year old OEM's on the bike from last week's purchase. I'm still kinda tossed up between going Power 2's for sticky max' grip, or Road 2's for longer life and VERY acceptable grip when leaning into a sweeper.)

 

Installed new electronic flasher module to get rid of my fast-flash on my turn signals. Used Velcro to mount it to frame and rear body. Next project is to clean up all the other "quick so I can ride" wiring I did...lol

I installed a clear alternative integrated rear brake light. Very bright. i will get some stock photos to new photos later.

 

Replaced my stock mirror that broke. Finally got rid of the stupid bar ends I was using in the mean time.

 

05 GSXR 750 fork with 08 R6 calipers and 03 GSXR 1000 320mm rotors went on. Still have the final touches to put on like the speedo drive and mounting the brake lines and hooking up the calipers and bleeding them down.

I gave it a nice wash, put some reflective red tape on the rims (ooooh purty!) and put a new K&N air filter!!!! yay!

 

Just put a new sarget seat on my 01 SVs. Man does it make a difference!

 

Rode to work. First trip anywhere on it since getting a new Pirelli Angel ST front tire on it after returning from a family vacation over the weekend.

 

Installed a new tachometer sticker. Just for good luck I am replacing the tach and speedo bulbs while it is in pieces.

 

I changed the original front master cylinder to a 2008 cbr1000 radial master cylinder... what a pain... but what a difference! so much more responsive, smooth just a totally different world... and all for around 80 bucks... awesome...

fixed my left front signal, it's got a bad connection on the wires from them being too short and stretched.

 

Ordered a Superlite Steel Sprocket Conversion Kit & a red EK 520MVXZ Chain from Sprocket Center. Front 15 & Rear 44 (stock).

Also ordered the following from Motorcycle Superstore...

• EBC - Organic Front Brake Pads
• EBC - Organic Rear Brake Pads
• Motul - 5100 Ester/Synthetic Engine Oil
• Emgo - Standard Oil Filter

I plan to get some NGK plugs, 15w fork oil, .90 Sonic springs, and a zx14 rear shock next.

 

repaired the power lead to my horn relay

 

The ducati rear caliper FINALLY came in the mail yesterday, hopefully I can install it today. Also a few days ago I received the spare/track tank I bought off of ebay, VERY happy with it - it has only 2 chips in the paint and no dents. Wootwoo! ;D

 

Put on motosliders a couple weeks ago.
Put on a RAM GPS mount and took of the grab rail on Wednesday.
Yesterday night I put on the Leo Vince high mount exhaust with the help of svrider's Algreen.

 

pulled the tank,air box, and fairing off . gettin it ready to do yet another shim check.
A tad overdue @ 32k. Got a feelin this go round she is gonna want some different shims.

Since I couldn't find one of these for sale.

Then i rode the kawi around and this thing seems to help people see me. So, now i'm not just another "punk on a bike" anymore.

 

Not my SV but my girlfriends. We removed her lowers and all the fairing stays, ordered frame sliders and a new front and rear tire.

cursed at it and my apparent poor tuning skills. Scheduling a dyno run today to get the A/F chart so i can see what's going on.

 

reinstalled the lower fairings after doing the fork swap. had to dremel off some of them to clear the new forks lower tripple clamp bolts.

 

Removed the plate mount, rear fender, and turn signals to get ready for my new integrated tail light. Still not sure where to re-mount the plate

 

fitted the straightened disc's and brembo's

 

Stripped and cut up a used passenger seat I bought recently. Fitted a Givi universal adaptor plate to it, and took it to have the thing recovered. Then I cut the handles off of the passenger grab rail so I can affix the seat with it's (removable) Givi top box to the bike.
The top box will fit via the modified passenger seat, flush with the tail of the bike and it's weight distributed directly over the rear axle. I'll be able to ride to work with my duty belt, gear, and lunch now..... then remove it and return my other passenger seat in place when I want to ride with nothing on the bike.
