Just added a Sargent seat. After my first 150+ mile ride I realized the seat on my new (to me) 2001 is horrible. Sargent said it would take 2-3 weeks but it arrived in 1. Haven't had a chance to ride it since we have been having storms but it seems hard and not as wide as I expected. Hopefully it will work out.

 

Love my Sargent! Just the right amount of soft and firm (watch it with the comments!)

belly pan from the new zealand trademe site. looks similar to the one from pyramid plastics. but comes un painted. need to touch up the rear hugger so i'll paint both at the same time. also ordered some alloy mesh today to fill the holes in the belly pan and make radiator and oil cooler covers.

washed, and detailed her. Added much needed tires, and new headlights. (left is new 5k color temp, and right is stock) The new lights were $6 with shipping.

Wednesday I installed SM type 2 bars (thanks orangegilly), Today I cleaned all the Dragon grime off of her and lubed the chain.

 

Spent all day trying to figure out why I cant get the Throttle bodies synchronized.
My baby just isn't feeling right :-( Surging at lower speeds ARGH
But I did cleaned her up real nice.

 

Took her out on her first organized run (Relay for Life poker run). Despite being only 1 of 3 sportbikes out of 55 bikes (me and 2 Kawis...rest were Harleys) I had a great time. Very cool!
