I'm with shaggy- I'd rather see "what did you do TO your SV" not "where did you ride your SV"...

That said, I removed my radiator cap and spray painted it with engine black then bolted it on... Did some other stuff too, but don't feel like posting that here. ;D

I bought a small lightweight floor jack, put it under the rear shock and jacked the bike up with the side stand out. This lifts the rear wheel off the ground so I can oil the chain. I put on a Suzuki gel seat and a double bubble window. Next will be a one inch rise and 1/2 inch back riser bars.
Anyone have a set cheap, or much less than the $200- plus listed price.

I took a look at my rear tire (OE with 5500 miles) and noticed that in addition to being at the wear bars, the tire was noticeably more worn on the left....certain small treads present on the right edge of the tread were worn out on the left edge of the tread. I checked the alignment and observed that the rear tire was biased to the right in relation to the front tire. I equaled it out, adjusted the free play and measured the swing arm to rear axle which, after the initial adjustment was equal on both sides. I decided to replace the rear tire so I took off the rear wheel and inspected the rear sprocket. It was a bit more worn on the inboard side. Is that consistent with the rear wheel being biased to the right?

just purchase buell xb headlight setup, cant wait to do the install.

adjusted and lubed chain (probably adjusted a little too tight)
Chet, you should let some slack back into your chain ASAP. Any error in adjusting your chain should be made on the loose side. A too tight chain will wear much faster.

big project ,someone pointed out that my rear directional wires were cross connected,rt to left,i fixed that this morning,i think i put my bikes bodywork together in poor lighting ,last time.

Was going to post this last night but my photobucket was on a maintenance cycle.

I was supposed to meet him at a Ralph's, then told him I wasn't going to make it. I was able to get everything done and I was there waiting for him. Right after I got done texting I saw Tom ride by cuz he thought I wasn't going to be there, lol. I caught up with him and we rode to Cook's. :D
