Installed CRG folding levers, new Vapor computer and rode it. Planning on swapping my BT016s in anticipation of US129 on Friday. Or I may just run my track tires.

pulled and drained the forks, refilled w/10wt oil to see if it helps firm up the intiminators a little more. also bled the brakes, and cleaned the garage a bit
And how did it do for you?

Today and yesterday I rode my SV to St. Jude Hospital to visit my dad.

He had a fever and has congestive heart failure. :(

And I changed my oil and filter.

Oh yeah in the parking lot I saw this:

The guy was wearing shorts and had a knee bandage. I don't know if that diaper was his, lol. :D

Sorry man. My dad had a heart attack 8 years ago and is still ticking... I should really call him though. :'(

well it wasn't today but this weekend I went squiding......shorts, short sleeve shirt, no gloves, helmet and steel toe boots. It was really really hot and just wanted to cool down a bit so I cruised through some neighborhoods a bit then went back home. Wife asked where I went, I said "I had to test the suspension". We were trying to leave to go to a friends for the 4th.

Cleaned and lubed the chain.

Went to get goodies for Scott who is in Afghanistan right now. There is a ocmoto goodies drive going on for him today. Will take pictures when I go drop off the goodies.

Rode to 1040gal's house for the goodie drive for Scott who is deployed in Afghanistan right now. I printed a google map and taped it to my tank but I cut the address off the paper, lol. :D

I was going to stop and call Tom, just so happened I stopped in front of the house I was heading to.

Goodies so far.

1040gal's toys.

Chillin' in the backyard.

Filled 16 boxes of goodies for Scott. Yay!

did my first oil change, washed and waxed.

also sat there looking at my cheap-o ebay bar end mirrors for about 10 mins trying to think of a way to get them to be less obtrusive to my pinkies.

then realized i can just spin the mounts to point down and turn the mirrors around :nosepick:

how easy was that integrated tail light installation?

for me, i went for a nice 40 mile ride through downtown and along the river. think i need new tires soon. any recommendations? i want good mileage (4000+) and some stick. i'm sure there's a billion possibilities and i'll end up researching for ever.

It was pretty easy actually. Take off side covers (1 3mm hex screw each), take off front seat (2 5mm hex screws), remove rear seat, 5 phillips screws, 2 12mm grab bar bolts, 1 10mm bolt holding rear seat release cable, 9 snap fasteners, unplug tail light and turn signal connectors, remove tail section, take out 4 12mm bolts holding tail light in. I had to use the 4 factory grommets for the new light as it didn't come with any. The integrated tail light has a connector the same as the stock unit so it plugs right in. It has 2 wires for the turn signals to connect to the factory wires. They are grounded internally so there is only one wire for each turn signal. (all bolt sizes given are the size of the head on the bolt, not bolt diameter)

Removed the rear wheel. New Conti Road Attack coming tomorrow. Cleaned the wheel, sprocket, hub, and swingarm while the wheel is off.

Rode my SV to the hospital to see my dad. Looks a lot better, the medications are working.

Then I went to Texas Loosey's bike nite. It was sponsored by Edelbrock so there were some cars there also. I had a great time, quite a few ocmoto peeps showed up.

The guys fired up the dragster a few times.

Old school rider getting the parking lot in order.

The ocmoto parking area. ;)

A few of the ocmoto raffle winners. Still looking to win the 50/50.

A bunch then headed to Frisco's bike nite after the raffle.
