Today I mounted $8 BMX pegs on my 1st gen. Later this week I will be finishing my tail section with fiberglass, me and my buddy have been experimenting with fiberglass... he just made his first seat pan out of it, after making a fiberglass air box for his chopped CB. PIX to come

that clear clutch looks waaaaaaaay freaking awesome!

i washed my sv today.

bought a yamaha 250. got my other 250 running. now need to order parts for the new 250. i now am the proud owner of 3 bikes!

I used the info found on here and cleaned my dirty, filthy, tarnished exhaust header with Brasso and it looks great!!!
Brasso? Does it shine it up or what? I use grade #0000 steel wool to shine up my can and pipe...works great to get rid of all the hard water marks and dirt...don't even need water or a towel. Post a pic of your pipe please.

As for me, today I had my 4yo help me wipe all the teflon wax I put on last night, then rode it to and from work. 108* today...can't decide which one is worse...wearing my skull cap or my full-face.

painted my lower GSXR triple clamp with duplicolor black wheel paint... (first I grinded, drilled and tapped the clamp to create new steering stops, then sanded it before paint) Turned out okay, but I don't care tooo much because it's going to be hidden from view by the 1/4 fairing.

Yesterday I drilled the mounting holes in my new fairings. Installed the bar ends and gripes, and decided to order Motosliders .

For the last week and a half, I've only been able to stare at my bike... :( Combination of crappy New England weather and life has kept me off of it. Planning on a couple of things though. I got Shady's aTRE in the mail yesterday and I want to add the LED's in the passenger footpegs so I have some LED's in the mail.

Yes I know I'm a wimp for not riding in the rain. I'm still a n00b so I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

That`s OK been riding 30 years and still don`t like riding in the rain.Aviod it when ever possible myself.

I changed the valve stem on my front tire.
It was cracked around the base, and leaking.
I sure would like some goldwing stems, they are bent 90. :)

Rode my SV to the HB doughnut shop.

This street has a center divider wider than the roads and is lined with eucalyptus trees.

I replaced my rear shock with a ZX-10R shock.

I ended up using a couple of tie-downs instead of the rope, lol. Funny I didn't take a picture of that.

I'll get a pic of the shock on the bike...:D

nice that is one of the best upgrades I have done to mine so far, I can't wait to upgrade the front shocks too. Did you make that rear "shelf" or did you buy it I remember seeing it at palomar but didn't get a chance to ask.
