Lubed the chain and topped the oil and took off for Moss Landing, CA with my fiance. Spent weekend cruisin up and down Moss Landing, shopping, eating and drinking. Rode back today. Bike handled and ran perfectly as usual. Fiance finally understands why I want to modify the pass seat like mine...lol.

he swapped out handlebars.

I did nothing...

except ordered a 520 'sprox 45T for my 08 gsxr rear wheel conversion. Should be mounting brand spanking new pp2ct 120/70 & 180/17 sometime next week.

"A" - did you just flip your bars around?

i played with the front pre-load a little again, nothing major. i'm just going to start carrying a small flat head or even a 50 cent piece so i can adjust it while i am out on a ride. that way once i leave the beat up city streets and enter the smooth twisties it's on-par to what i like.

No, I replaced the OEM chrome, upright handlebar:

with a black Cafe/Clubman handlebar and a pivoting riser bar clamp:

Routing the cables/brake hose was time involving trial and error.. when it comes time to flush the front brake, I will change the front brake hose length for better adjustability.

I created my own license plate brackets and wired in some LED lights for the plates. I also adjusted the TPS thanks to the recent thread that popped up. Have yet to ride it yet, but I'm sure it will make a huge difference since it was way off.

BTW, the Comp Werks FE (the one that puts the plate tucked up against the tool/battery box) isn't legal in Mass in case anyone is wondering. The rule is the plate has to be visible from 60 feet away.

i put renthal handlebars, flipped them cafe style, look siiiiiick. had to drill new holes for the control boxes on either end (lights/horn, and cutoff switch/ignition).

took off the front windscreen (it was rashed badly from a recent crash) dont think i am going to replace it, just going naked up front.

took off exhaust pipe, for m4 carbon install this weekend.

pictures to come......

Rode to / from work. Installed Helibars, washed and waxed it. Took it and 6 yo for a slow ride down the street to her friends house and back. Lubed chain, checked tire pressures, and backed it into the garage for the fast getaway in the morning.
