Bought a dragbar so I had to drain front brake line to grind down brake line stopper on master cylinder.
When putting everything back together I dropped the washers which fell through the frame and only one fell on the ground....... shook bike left and right, nothing...... went to the hardware store to buy a new washer, put everything back together and added new fluid...... hopefully the lost washer won't cause me any trouble!

You bought a cooper or aluminum washer, right?

Adjusted clutch, throttle cable, Changed brake fluid. TPS adjustment, cleaned chain.

Bought a smoked helmet screen, new gloves.

Thanks for posting that up about your experience with the BT-016. I was seriously thinking about getting those this spring, but think now I will join the Pilot Road crowd.

 

He's the only person I've heard talk bad about them. Everyone else I've spoken to who've ridden them on the track and/or street rave about them.

 

Rode about 60 miles today to my reserve unit to prep for this weekend and then some back roads to get home. Have to get a couple things done at w**k and then back out on the bike.

I pulled the trigger and just bought a vapor for the bike.

 

Took the SV for a ride with new Pilot Road 2 tires on her, boy did it feel good.

 

Put another 60 miles on the bike with my brother in law before the rain moves in for the next few days.

 

Nothing.......rain is stupid.

 

It's coming my way. Starting tonight. Sucks.

Oh.. and the bike's front calipers are off, so no riding anyway.

 

It kept looking like I was gonna get at least a short ride in, but nothing. Maybe tomorrow, but it looks like it's gonna rain for like a month.

Well yesterday I was riding mine down the street till this suburban illegally changed 3 lanes, no blinker, and hit me.

Apparently, the bike did a front flip and landed on the tail crushing the rear frame rail and busted just about every piece of plastic on the bike. Another copper bites the dust.

I fixed a bunch of crappy wiring for a Vapor gauge on a bike I'm fixing. It was a mess, but now all the gauges work great. I tried to fix some crappy aftermarket wiring connectors but gave up, used oem ones and it turned out much better.

What I did today on mine was take a utility knife blade and straightened out the cooling vanes on my radiator...still a lot left to do. Lesson learned -- never use turbo pressure washer on radiator...lol

Installed my new chain and sprockets this morning

 

Last weekend I rebuilt my forks putting in RaceTech Gold emulators, damping rods, and new adjustable pre-load fork caps. Hubby was off snowboarding so I thought I would tackle the project while he was gone. I did have minimal help with a few things I was physically not strong enough to do but it felt great to have done it myself. I'll post up some pictures once I have them transferred into my PhotoBucket file.

 

Installed some Shogun frame and spool sliders (bought them before I came to this site), then installed my RAM mount set up for my camera. Rode about 150 miles as well, and got my first ride vids on SilVia. I will post them later once I get around to uploading them.

 

Put on my the correct Gafler rotor, bleed rear calipers, checked the front again and took some pictures. Ready to ride. If the weather works in my favor might actually happen.

Also got to thinking about my next mod/buy. I am definately wanting a new seat. I have decided on Sargent's. Either that or motosliders, cant decide lol.

 

Go with motosliders... they cost less than a seat... and you can always wear bicycle shorts with the ass padding if you have to... but tip over the bike without sliders and you won't be too happy...

Installed zx10r shock last night.

New tires probably next weekend.

 

Checked my charging system before ordering resistors for my new LEDs...idles 1250 @ 12.38v and tops charge at 2000 @ 14.31v. Manual says normal is between 14 and 15v @ 5000 so I think I'm good.
