just bought front and rear conti road attacks, and will have them installed tmro for 360$

That is why I keep a pair of cheap rain pants rolled up under my seat... and since I have the EFFEX GORE-TEX A* boots they are fairly waterproof...at least inside they are... the outer material will get a bit soggy but the feet stay dry... since they are gortex they are a bit warm, but I can wear them all day and they look decent still under office biz casual pants

it doesn't work so well if I am wearing my mesh jacket instead of my waterproof one though...
I HAD a pair of cheap rain pants, the crotchal (c) region ripped out of them because they were TOO cheap and too short! I don't have any armored pants so I figure I'll go all the way and get some waterproof ones.

I have boots now, but they are lace-up work boots so I really need to upgrade to some with buckles so I figure I'll go waterproof with those too.

(Crotchal is my word... you can't have it!!! lol)

Just bought oil for the much needed oil change. Next maintenance day will include oil change, lube of various parts, chain clean/lube, control adjustment, and work on the seat cowl. Sometime this weekend hopefully.

Got most of my parts*see sig* from the mail box today *hard to move on crutches :p* Im missing the foot pegs and the levers...so Im guessing the post office made a mistake so Im going to have to go back tomorrow...

Cant wait to get that stubby installed tho!

Do the crutches have anything to do with the "Flesh Mounted Blinkers?"

Freudian slip perhaps?

I cleaned it and lubricated the chain. Then went for a ride and cleaned it again before tucking it in for the night in my barn. Yeah... I'm hooked.

Fitted my new Shad top box to the Renntec rack. Fitting was extremely straightforward. I think it's a little too large for the bike but I probably won't ride with it all that much

Here it is with my helmet in it for scale. Note that it claims that it fits two helmets. Mine is XXL (and the helmet too) but clearly that is not the case. Maybe two of those HD beanies.

And here is with the box removed. Unfortunately, it looks like it will make it hard to use my cargo net which is what I usually like to rock with. We'll see how that goes.

Note that this is quite a lot for the poor little Renntec rack. I'll be making sure to load it lightly until I can either come up with some reinforcement or replace with something a bit more substantial.

And here is my GPS which I actually fitted a couple of weeks ago but didn't take pictures to post

All in all, it was a great evening with the mistress!

Told the wife I had some "running around to do".....

Took "Suzie" out drinking (Rotella T Full Syn, and a couple Seafoam shooters), before long she was absolutely greased (chain too).

This led to some heavy petting, and a little bit of fooling around in the shower (shiny clean).

About then, things started to get hot and heavy. I played a little with her......uh......box (battery box, gone), and then messed around a bit more "down there" (1/2 turn more comp damping).

Eventually, she let me ride her for about a half hour. I just snuck quietly back into the house a little while a go.

Hope my wife doesn't find out!

EDIT

In case anyone doesn't quite understand my little story (possibly ShaggyZ, lol), I should translate-

"This evening I changed my oil, washed my SV, removed the battery box, adjusted my shock, and went for a short ride"

Grammar Lesson of the Day
The above short story was written using metaphor.

Took my bent up radiator off to discover the 2000 model radiator doesn't fit...piiiiissssseeeed about that.
I semi-recommend these guys - http://www.motorcycleradiators.com. They got mine fixed for $115 shipped, but I had to send it back once because they missed one of the leaks somehow. I was annoyed that they didn't mask off anything when they painted it black, so I had to sand off the fittings to make sure no "new" paint flaked off.
