lastnight, i completed the 600 mile service on the bike

I went out bought some kerosene, cleaned and lubed my chain. I also picked up a 13inch extended drill bit and drilled a few holes in the baffle. A subtle difference but a slip on will come with the next season. Along with new tires, only a thousand miles on the stock but from what I have read on here they make a world of difference.

Change oil and filter (I had a cracked filter)

Today after work I'm going too take apart the Other sv (not the bobber/SSSA one) done to the engine and start building it back up how I want it.

Rode her hard and put her away wet!

Rode her hard and put her away tired, wet and very satisfied!
Fixed that for you. ;)

Haven't rode mine since I backed her off the trailer. It's been raining everyday and I was down in Miami for the last 2. :'( I hope tomorrow or Saturday is gonna be her day again.

Lifted it back up after doing my gsxr shock swap 3 weeks ago.

For Father's day I got to finish off the Fender Elim Kit, replace the front blinkers with led's, put the bar end mirrors on and ride for an hour or so.....very satisfying day!!

Wasn't today, but this last week I finished replacing the broken left footpeg and needed pieces along with the handlebar end bolt that also broke in my accident.I also de-stickered the warnings and painted the headlight ring, mirrors (of which only replaced back with the right one),radiator end protectors and the first exhaust heat shield all with high temp black engine paint.I think I'm going to repaint the headlight ring as this particlar paint doesn't like to be handled by the oil in human fingertips. It is slightly dull in finish.

I had my second ride on her since the new suspension and sprocket. It was nice. This time, I was minus the wife, so I could open it up a little bit. Rides like it's on rails.. and I find myself almost running out of gear.

cdbouncer Re: What did you do to your SV today
Rode it to work.....

been staring at it out the window for the last 6 hours :'(
At least you have a window to look out of.

mine is sitting in the back parking lot. 75 degrees and sunny out for the first time in 2 weeks and I have to sit in a windowless room and think about riding.

Thankfully they laxed the websense software here at work so I can get on SVR again ;D

Hopefully later this week I will be replacing the magneto cover gasket, change the oil and get my new front tire mounted.

Rode it through a heavy thunderstorm to drop it off at the shop for tires brakes and inspection.

Heavy rain ******* hurts at 70 mph holy ****. Even more so with a bad sun burn.... I had to pull over and put a jacket on.
