Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Rode it 400+ miles today. On our way through eastern Utah I actually saw RichDesmond on his way home to Oklahoma from his trip to Alaska. What a coincidence. Neither one of us had any idea the other one would be in that location at that time.

I took mine for a test spin try out the new forks that are now a little lower and see how she handles. Not as twitchy now and I've got my steering lock back.

Rode around looking for a place to watch fireworks tonight. Got stopped by YCS...

"Son you know your headlight isn't working?"
"Wa? Really? I had no idea?" (puts hand in front of light)
"You need to burn a headlight in VA, son."
"Oh... it was working earlier? :dontknow:" (S--t hasn't worked for a month)
"Click yer highbeems... see if those work."
(try switch... obviously doesn't work)
"Ya better get that fixed... you need to burn a headlight in Virginia."
"Ok will do... I had no idea... silly me. Darn it. ;D"
(Turn the corner to leave and hoik a wheelie up the hill. :evil6:)

At 14,500 miles I finally replaced my plugs for the first time...should have been done twice by now. Lt. Grey appearance...so replaced with CR8E's.
Also got around to changing out the air filter, had inspected it b4, but this time it had a hue of dk grey at some folds, so it was definitely time.
Bled the rear brake that has been either barely working or locking up. not really any in between. Hoping that changes now.

Time for a test drive b4 I go to work and miss all the fireworks. I don't think they are going to have any in the courtyard at the state hospital.

Spent 5ive hours on the bike today.

-Finally wired in power diode to my turn signal idiot lamp to get it to flash for either turn signal side. Soldered, electrical tape, new 8-pin harness for Vapor, elec. box, etc.

-Adjusted headlights and wiring harness, cleaned up wiring in front.

-Mocked up brackets for new headlight and removed existing brackets.

-Cleaned and oiled chain.

Put on another 210 miles today. Rode in a group of 6 bikes for most of the ride. Then 2 took off early. The 4 of us left rode out the back roads to Akron. Alot of Metro park riding and a nice ride down the Erie Canal Scenic Byway. Back to the North to go watch Fireworks in Fairport Harbor with a picnic on the Beach. Great Day!

Today, I arrived home at about 5 past midnight after riding to the SV650.org annual rideout, 1050 miles :fiddy: About 400 of those in the rain :p Today, I'm giving it time off for good behaviour, though I need to take the tent and gear off the back and give the poor beast a wash. Worth every mile though.

This last weekend I did the TPS adjustment after getting ****** off at the way my sv650n was acting at low speeds. It's amazing the difference a small adjustment can make in this, the bike really does feel completely different. Later that night around midnight I got bored and rode about 40 miles through downtown Reno, was out for over an hour or so. **** that ride felt so good, it was the absolute perfect weather for riding and it being so late there was no traffic.
