Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
Watched the rain here also.watched with contempt as rain continued to fall on the all-weather cover.
alarm installation is being put off another day.
Pft! I wish! What you see there one day of paint stipper, three days of elbow grease, sandpaper, polish, and a can of Duplicolor wheel coating.Black chrome PC? Same color we just did my brothers track SV wheels
Nice - we have a new powdercoater.... used to be 150 for me to do 2 wheels, now its 200 but he does great work.... black chrome is swank.Pft! I wish! What you see there one day of paint stipper, three days of elbow grease, sandpaper, polish, and a can of Duplicolor wheel coating.
You won't feel a "huge" difference......I put the TRE on my bike but didn't really feel a huge difference if anything at all taking it around the block, but I'm gonna ride it around in a little just to make sure.
Have you considered doing a full-on review and posting it somewhere in the forums? I am sure lots of people would find this sort of information useful.Removed forks from bike, hung forks overnight to drain all the 20wt oil. Switched my Race Tech emulators for a set of Ricor Intiminators & 5wt oil. I was skeptical about them but they are much better than emulators. Wheel stability in turns makes riding on the street fun again.
Now I'm not going to do a 43mm R6 fork swap. Would 100% recommend these valves.
I just "googled" them.... very interesting idea.Removed forks from bike, hung forks overnight to drain all the 20wt oil. Switched my Race Tech emulators for a set of Ricor Intiminators & 5wt oil. They are currently 50% off. They are also a new site sponsor. See this thread for the 50% off details.I just "googled" them.... very interesting idea.
$300!![]()
Of course that is cheaper and easier then a GSXR front end....but you still have the crappy SV brakes.
Ricor Intiminators
WOW! Thanks....I might just have to get some of those! I really like the idea and from what I read it's a well thought out product....but the price had a bit of a pucker! Not anymore! Thanks! They are currently 50% off. They are also a new site sponsor. See this thread for the 50% off details.
Did a 14.5 K valve check , oil and filter change, TB syncro check while in there, Cleaned and lubed the chain, and put a bt 021 on the rear.
