tried out the throttle lock, it slowly loses speed (or gains and then slows down depending on how i let off). it's just a cat o ring, dunno if i should close the gap between the throttle and bar end or just leave it, works good enough i guess.
rode to a drift event in bfe, 225 miles total, 65.7 mpg. it's at an old helicopter pad (huge, 1950's military whatever) at mineral wells airport. we had permission to be there (cheap to rent) but some bikes showed up towards the end and went to the back of the lot to stunt wearing proper stunting gear (helmets, jeans, t-shirts). at least 1 bike had an extended swingarm, all were doing wheelies, 1 guy went a little too far back (no 12 oclock bar) and fell off, bike went another 30-40 feet end over end. he got right back up but you could see the bone at his elbow, eventually someone took him to the hospital (20 mins after it happened). took like 7 people to put the bike into the back of a truck because the bike was basically in 3 pieces but still held together somehow. the frame was toast.
crazy stuff, they must have picked up all the pieces because i didn't see anything back there when we picked up the cones.
