Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

remounted my "fixed" radiator and all the fun stuff that goes with doing that. let it idle up to 215 before shutting down, cleaned up re-checked the fluids and got her all dressed again. will be taking it out for a tes ride tomorrow after work. then start looking for a new radiator :dontknow:

Got home with shim stock so I could install my new Yosh TRS. I think the SV650 is a particularly loud bike. It's louder than my ZX-14 with a TRS. I am going to test it with a Radio Shack sound dB meter tomorrow and see what I get.

Got it together in time for a sunset ride. Man it was nice out. Just enough clouds to make the sky orange. I love the smell of a new exhaust.

Had the bike 11 days now and between the Corbin and the Yosh I'm really starting to like this bike.

Nice videos Lost1888!

I installed the Intimidators Saturday and I test rode the bike Sunday. I was very impressed with how my bike rides now! I posted it Sunday in the Ricor thread, forgot to post here, lol. :D

I had my SV for 2 years and of all the things I have done with the bike, the Intimidators are by far the best mod that I have made to my bike. ;D

Riding with the goofy, stock suspension for a couple years can teach you to be pretty smooth so when you move to good suspension, your habits cause you to be REALLY smooth. That's been my experience, at least - I got fast on old, SV forks and rear shock and then upgraded it all so I *think* I'm quite a bit faster now.

Cleaned it up a bit to securely mount the GoPro camera I got in the mail yesterday. I have a few days to test out various aspects of the camera before my track day this weekend. In fact, I made a video last night and was able to test the low light capabilities.

The first minute or so is in high speed until I get to a real road. Make sure the video is in High Quality.

I can't believe how slow 1x speed. That explains why my crash video seemed like I was doing 30mph when it was actually closer to 55mph. Incidentally, I have decent proof of this if anyone is interested :)

finally could not take the aching back any longer and opted to go back to bars...

i forgot just how much more "flickable" this bike is with bars and a more upright body position. on the flip side, highway riding is a bit more taxing now at speeds over 70mph or so.

still need to do some clean up on the front, hide/wrap wires and cables etc. overall very happy with the decision to return to bars. the bars are universal solex mini-hi and the risers are moose racing 35mm. need a new mirror option as the mounting system for my old bar end mirrors is to fat to fit in the new bars as the tubing walls are much thicker.

anybody looking for some 50mm clip-ons and braided stainless galfer brake lines (length for gsxr1000)? i'm going to throw an ad with pictures in the classified section tonight.

Tried to get them on the NC30 in Bangkok once, the pillion was just too high (or I'm just too short). I suspect the SV would be about the same. This could be the one advantage of the Gladius' one-piece seat.

Sometimes I'd just throw a few clubs into the backpack and ride it to the range.

It was pouring here (Dulles) 10 minutes ago :)
Good. Hopefully it will here, too. I hate to say it after June, but the lawn could use some water.
