Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

I got a 86 Hp motor built from twin works factory, big smiles!

He(Zoran) put 41mm flatslide carbs, yosh cams and Hyabusa pistons,+who knows what proprietary tricks. Can't say enough good things about the motor,my dealings with Zoran or the price (which I'll not discuss because I think he would not like it) if you want a quote you should contact him :http://www.twfracing.com/forums/. I am in the bay area and TWF is in Reno but one of the TWF racers can provide transport from Sacramento. You should know Zoran would never ask for me to post this nor advertise for him in my sig,I am so pleased with my current and past dealings with him it is the least I can do.

The motor pulls from further down in the rpm range than before ,has more power everywhere and guite a bit more top end. It seems to rev quicker too. The racing carbs are a bit to get used to as the cable is attached to the slides so you need to be smooth on the throttle. I picked up about 9 mph faster on the front straight @thunder hill. Previously I was seeing 121(gps) and after the upgrade my best top speed on the straight was 130. I have no dyno sheet for it yet,so you say how do you know how much Hp it makes?! Well no less then 6 racers with the exact same motor butilt by the same person came by on their own and all said theirs made 86 on the dyno. I have to get some pod filters for it so after that I will get a dyno run. Filters will be a bit of a chore as I have a bit of a fussy custom tank that leaves little room for a filter on the rear carb.

Met TBone at Sheetz at 9 am. We went up to visit Coop, then took random turns throughout Westmoreland, Fayette, and Somerset Counties. We dodged small boulders, dogs, and sand traps on the farm roads, ate lunch in historic Ligonier, PA's main square, got flipped off by a chopper dude, were detoured just about everywhere we went thanks to construction, and in general had a good time. I put on around 130 miles, which means TBone had to have at least 220 by the time he got home.

I went out and check the tire pressure, rear was down 2lbs so I filled it up and spray detailed the bike and then pushed her back into her parking spot as the rain started up again. Hopefully I can take her to work tomorrow as I haven't been on her in over a week.

:)

Put my Motosliders on today. I'm by no means the most mechanical guy in the world, but it was easier than I expected. I'd been holding off for a few weeks to get a friend to do them for me, but bit the bullet and did them myself. Took about 30 minutes. Would have taken a fraction of that except I had to go out and get a deep 19mm socket. Didn't realize the regular one only works so far down the bolt and then can't grip any more. I was confused as hell for about 10 minutes. Duh !

Knocked two little chips of paint off the top of the tank when the pre-load adjuster spun far easier than I expected. :( My bike has been through a lot and it's about time it had a whole new paint job anyway. I still shed a little biker tear.

Unfortunately didn't get to ride today. I can thank the lovely Tennessee weather for that. Hopefully it will move out by tomorrow. My fairings will be here in the morning so I will have something to do even if it is still raining.

belly pan and radiator shrouds installed, very easy install.

i also removed the stock chain guard.

i picked up these parts from oneidasuzuki.com

i couldnt complete the install for the motosliders since we didnt have a long enough extension for the socket wrench, soon coming.

next item will be a new headlight setup, still debating on whether to go with the LSL setup on speiglerusa.com or maybe aztec8 dual round 4".

bike is still not running, still need a radiator cap and longer rear brake hose to fit with this gsxr rearset im using in place of my snapped stock one.
