I'm sure he's smiling big time right about now! ;D
Not sure:'( Nexus and I seem to be loosing touch. It's probably because he hasn't been ridden much this winter:( It was actually pretty cold...and with him falling sick (the chocolate shake mixer deal) it definitely set us back from quality one on one time!

Well, WTH was the problem?
The world may never know:p ;D

I called my SV a "Bitc*h" and told it to put itself together

Put insurance on it for the year!

pulled the clutch cable, throttle/cable/kill switch assembly and whats left of the seat after a dog chewed all the foam off and damaged the plug to the kill switch , to get them cleaned and loob'd and ready to go back on when my motor is finished.

Took it and my CBR600 over to my sponsor's shop to take some team photos. That's after spending the past few evenings patching and repainting the tail section that got messed up when I crashed in practice during the last round of '08. It had to look somewhat decent.

I had gotten it raceable that weekend but since forgotten that some things needed replacing. So now I'm looking for an OEM SVS windscreen and may have located a new OEM rearset. I should probably get another right clipon too.

Cleaned and lubed chain, going for a local ride Sunday meeting one of my ocmoto.com friends at the HB doughnut shop. He just bought a condo in Sunset Beach, we'll cruise over there then maybe cruise to Live Oak. We'll pass by where the Tap-Out guy crashed his Ferrari, should see the tire marks - don't know if you guys saw that on the news.

Put top triple, headlight and gauge pod back on.

Rode it for 2 hours.

Lubed chain. Changed oil & filter. Drained some oil out because I apparently can't count and I overfilled it a bit.

Changed the clutch cable, adjusted controls/clip-ons/gauges, re-installed heated grips, installed new grips, installed battery, and started it for the first time since late October.

Made some good progress today. Still need to finish wiring in the heated grips, adjust the new clutch cable, install the front wheel and fender, possibly swap out the throttle cables (maybe not, depending on my mood), install my new speedo sensor, and install and bleed the brakes. There's a slim chance I could have it ready to ride tomorrow, but it still wouldn't be completely done for the year. :-\

Finished fork spring swap. Installed new tires, rode... man what a difference!

Met my friend at the HB doughnut shop this morning, saw another ocmoto guy there also, rode to see the condo he is moving into at Sunset Beach.

Then we rode to Santiago Canyon and Live Oak Canyon, saw where the tap out crash was on the way. My friend headed to the 55 Fwy and I went back the way we came, passed the crash site again and I u-turned around and went by it one more time. It happened on Jamboree just south of University - the road starts going uphill and turns right. From the skids marks on the road it looks like he missed the turn, spun out then hit the light pole. There was no stopping there so I could not get any pics.

D A M N eddiemon... you must have one hell of a belly on you by now.... I think every post you have on here has a line about going to the doughnut shop... ;D
