Got rid of the OEM big'ol fugly turnsignals and install some mini bikemaster ones, front and rear...at first they weren't bright enough but once I changed the blinker fluid all was well!

same here. we had a real heat wave over the last week or so, highs have been around 80 degrees! I've been riding the new scooter to work, and neglected my poor SV. Going to party in new orleans this weekend, and I was sure hoping to take the SV...unfortunately, the cold has come back with a vengence - today's high was around 50 and raining all day, and it's going to be that way for at least the next several days (lows in the 30's-40's....YUCK! I HATE COLD RAINY WEATHER!). looks like I'll be riding to new orleans with my buddy in his truck. oh well...this way, I can smoke cigars with him on the way down!

I have no problem admitting that I'm a pansy when it comes to cold weather! It's the reason I live in Louisiana and not Canada I have no problem at all riding in what others might consider stifling heat - 100 degrees with 90% humidity? give me a mesh jacket and enough gatorade and water to stay hydrated, and I'm a-ok.

I don't like being cold, but I can deal with it to an extent; and I don't particularly like rain, but it's tolerable if necessary...but rain AND cold is too much for me, especially for a 300 mile trip when I have the option of riding down with a couple of buddies in an SUV. I'm ok down to 40 degrees when it's dry. Any colder than that, and I can't put on enough clothes to be warm and comfortable. I don't have heated gear...but there's really no need for it down here. We get almost 9 full months of fair weather riding season...the remaining months, there's usually a few warm days peppered here and there to keep me from going into bike withdrawls.

The scooter is a recent addition to the stable...I just bought it less than two weeks ago, so the newness hasn't worn off yet. It's a blast so far. I bought it because it was cheap, it's something different, and it will be a fun modding project. you wouldnt believe the array of inexpensive performance upgrades out there for these little 2 strokers! Full exhaust system coming soon
