Went for a ride to a local bike night and meet up with some other Ohioriders. Had dinner at QSL and killed some bugs on the way home.

 

Took the 1000 ( Bluzu ) in for the first service. Ordered a gel seat and double bubble windscreen. Bought a leather jacket, then road up Island for an icecream, had coffee with a lady friend later in the day, and killed a few bugs on the way home.
New lady friend used to ride. Soon she will be taking the rider safety programme, and I told her I know where there is a spare SV650S.
Hint: parked next to Bluzu.

Got my new tires on and in the process of reinstalling the front I broke the speedometer magnets off. Cleaned a lubed the chain too.

 

Rode my SV to the post office, had to mail some letters.

You're unstoppable! You do a lot of cool things with your bike, but a daily journal this should not be. PPPPPPPLEASE!!!!!

 

Finally buttoned up my clip-on swap and mounted my 7'' HID off road light on my 08 nekkid 8) ... tomorrow ill be getting tint for said headlight, cuz its a lil bright :BangHead:

 

Started taking off all the damaged fairings/parts. Going to start ordering new stuff. Thinking about going with Aftermarket fairings rather them OEM.

Undertail kit appears undamaged!
Rear tail light and all wires undamaged.

 

Rode to the Texas Loosey's bike nite. One ocmotoguy (old school rider) would like to get more sportbikes there, it is mainly cruisers. Had a great time, the food was great, the girls were hot, and the Lakers kicked @ss!!! ;D

Tonight I help alwaysummer put his back tire on, adjust, clean and lube his chain, change his oil, and filter. It was raining and I took some tools with me so I drove my wife's car.

I was just there for moral support (he had everything under control) and Bsing had a beer then went and watched the Laker's game at Panini's.

On my bike I cleaned the bugs off and check the normal stuff screwing around in the garage.

Got to tinker with 2 bikes today. It was a good day for a rain day.

 

Drove through torrential downpour, hydroplaning the whole 40 minutes to Newt's house where I made him remove three tires from my extra wheels: 2 SV, 1 GSXR. It was more jungle gym, rigged tire tool acrobatics again - these tires gave us real trouble but we won out in the end.

Who needs a front or rear 2003 SV wheel or front 2004 GSXR600 wheel? Rotors included.

 

It was a close call between beatings with a 5' 2X4 by the Shaggy, or removing tires with it. I only chose to remove the tires because it gave me the chance to show off my left-handed dorm grip.

 

Put in some more work yesterday on the seat cowl project. It's getting closer to final prep and paint before making the mold. A few more sanding sessions and bondo, and I'll be close to happy.

Rode the SV to ACH with some ocmoto peeps today, had a great time!

Stop at the Shell station, it was drizzling, and there was bad fog going up around the 3-4,000 ft range, then it was clear.

Break at Newcombs.

Stopped to take some pictures, Tom noticed his headlight was out.

Lunch at Grizzly Cafe, and the light was fine - had blown a fuse.

3 of us rode ACH back, it was still fog and drizzle there. The other 5 rode east to the 15 Fwy and headed home. Next time we'll go to ACH from the eastside to avoid the fog and drizzle.
