Installed my new can. Took off the rear foot pegs. Got my levers and foot pegs in the mail (for installation tomorrow). And turned the parking lights into turn signals. Pics will follow ASAP.

i rode it today!

 

Installed TRE yesterday and blocked off the PAIR intake. TRE made a huge difference in throttle response and eliminated off-idle popping. Runs like a whole new bike.

 

I think its the pair block off that eliminates the popping

I have a TRE and it pops like a mofo, esp since i took off the airbox snorkle

I slapped the motor and frame and swingarm together so the spacers could be made for the rearwheel.. sprocket alignment, caliper bracket and all that..
The '07gsxr600 tripples are in the frame waiting ..for the rear to be done.. to have the forks jammed in there with the wheel to have spacers made there too..
i guess its time to order caliper spacers

 

I rode my SV to Cycle Gear for the grunge brush that was backordered. On my way back I stopped at the HD dealer to see if they had an XR1200, and I'll be they have 2 of them!

He said I could take it for a ride, but because of the time I said I will come back to test ride it, yay!

So I get home and put the bike in the back, and then I noticed my back tire:

Spent the last week or so installing swatt clip-ons and painting and fabbing all the pieces for my custom headlight bracket. But no im at a stand still, my brake reservoir hits the clip-on :confused4: I know its been done a million times, how do u get around this??

Bought some TechSpec pads, got prepped to do some body work tomorrow or Sunday, and found out that the screw that holds the horn to the frame vibrated out, and my horn has just been hanging loose for some unknown number of miles.

 

Went for a ride in the rain to ACH with 10 other ocmoto guys today.

I'm heading home on the 91 Fwy and people are hitting the brakes. I hit my brakes and they lock-up, I'm kinda sliding sideways like a speedway bike. Thought I might hit the car in front of me but was able to let off the brakes and throttle enough to stand me back up and I split the lane and went on my merry way, lol.

I bet the guy behind me thought I was going to crash.

 

Locked up my brakes today too eddiemon.

Didn't see a stopsign as it was hiding behind a tree, behind a curve, with no "Stop Ahead" sign. Pulled out of the slide still upright, but something caused my gearshifter to transform into a gearshitter, and now it will not shift. Yay!

Then stood by the side of the road for two hours in the dark waiting for the tow

 

I got some goodies for my SV.

 

Ordered the Ricors for mine yesterday.Went to my favorite shop to see if they had a shock.Found out one of the techs died hours after I seen him Monday.Four freinds of the shop have died this year.I`m sad today.Was hoping to go on i ride I posted,now I almost hope nobody shows.

 

Finally got it registered. After 3 weeks and 1,700mi I fianlly have plates ;D
Previous owner and I didn't know that in his state the seller has to have his sig noterized, so I had to mail the title back to him and wait for him to mail it back.

I also got my garage cleaned up so I can pull the motor on my 02 on Sunday.

 

I was finally able to install the .85 Sonic Springs. They feel great, the bike feels much more stable, I didn't realize how bad it actually was untill now. One thing thats worrying me though is the cotter pin on the bottom of the fork cap interferes with the pvc spacer because the its so thick. I could hear it scraping it as I turned the preload adjuster. I realize now I should have taken a picture...but has anyone noticed this cause it seems like it would cause uneven pressure around the top of the spring...plus when you turn the preload its shaving off the pvc which could get into the dampening port and maybe even clog it.
Anyways aside from that I also got my seat back from Spencer with the LD option...it feels greattttttt. And I also put on a pair of grip puppies...the extra grip feels good, I'm happy with them. So overall a great day of upgrades!

 

Bought a brand new Joe Rocket Alter Ego 1.0 jacket off eBay. Also, my Conti Road Attacks were delivered.

 

My new Bridgestone BT-021 tires arrived at my door step so I'll have them put on Monday. Went for a 88 mile trip with a friend and my brother in law through the Kettle Moraines, also saw a number of riders out as we have races here at Road America this weekend.

What's so special about these stickers. I've seen a few people with them but I have no idea if the R refers to something that was done to the bike or if it's just for style... Someone clarify my noobness please!

Just got done putting on front forks with Traxxion Dynamic springs and Emu, and a rear 06 zx14 shock . . .OOOHHHHHHH YEAH. M4 Exhaust is nxt in a couple weeks;D

 

i tihnk those stickers are great. how big are they? i may be interested in picking some up.
