Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

yeah... and those Camp Fuel containers are designed for fuels (gas included) so they are very durable... just toss it in a bag and tie it to the back

those camp fuel containers are strong enough to withstand falling out of a backpack when hiking/semi rock climbing, falling about 10 feet and bouncing down a rather steep incline for about 100 yards... it was dented and the plastic ring to strap it to a caribeener clip on the top of the cap was cracked but the container itself was still good and it did not leak

... and you would only need to put it on as a temp test to see if your fuel level sender works... otherwise you could be pushing... I had that happen once...
The circuit was good so the shop manual test to see if the lights work was fine... however the sender didn't work so the light never came on

Fitted my new Shad top box to the Renntec rack. Fitting was extremely straightforward. I think it's a little too large for the bike but I probably won't ride with it all that much

Image

Here it is with my helmet in it for scale. Note that it claims that it fits two helmets. Mine is XXL (and the helmet too) but clearly that is not the case. Maybe two of those HD beanies.

And here is with the box removed. Unfortunately, it looks like it will make it hard to use my cargo net which is what I usually like to rock with. We'll see how that goes.

Note that this is quite a lot for the poor little Renntec rack. I'll be making sure to load it lightly until I can either come up with some reinforcement or replace with something a bit more substantial.

And here is my GPS which I actually fitted a couple of weeks ago but didn't take pictures to post

All in all, it was a great evening with the mistress!

Told the wife I had some "running around to do".....

Took "Suzie" out drinking (Rotella T Full Syn, and a couple Seafoam shooters), before long she was absolutely greased (chain too).

This led to some heavy petting, and a little bit of fooling around in the shower (shiny clean).

About then, things started to get hot and heavy. I played a little with her......uh......box (battery box, gone), and then messed around a bit more "down there" (1/2 turn more comp damping).

Eventually, she let me ride her for about a half hour. I just snuck quietly back into the house a little while a go.

Hope my wife doesn't find out!

EDIT

In case anyone doesn't quite understand my little story (possibly ShaggyZ, lol), I should translate-

"This evening I changed my oil, washed my SV, removed the battery box, adjusted my shock, and went for a short ride"

Grammar Lesson of the Day
The above short story was written using metaphor.

Took my bent up radiator off to discover the 2000 model radiator doesn't fit...piiiiissssseeeed about that.
I semi-recommend these guys - http://www.motorcycleradiators.com. They got mine fixed for $115 shipped, but I had to send it back once because they missed one of the leaks somehow. I was annoyed that they didn't mask off anything when they painted it black, so I had to sand off the fittings to make sure no "new" paint flaked off.
