Met up with a few ocmoto peeps and rode locally - Santiago and Live Oak canyon roads.

One of the guys with the R6 has only been riding a few months, just wears a vest. The other R6 guy is a stunter, also has a Harley.

And yes the R6's are matching colors, I asked them if they were keyed the same - they are not.

 

Pulled the SV out of storage and rode it around for a while before bringing it back on base. First time I've seen it or been able to ride for a month. Felt good.

 

Had to buy a new set of Motrax signals to get some bulbs. Anyone ever need Motrax signals minus the bulb as of right now I will have 1 full set and in a couple days I will have 3 full sets.

 

I rode the bike for the first time on the 5th bought a new alpine jacket and icon airframe tyranny helemt. and gloves changed the brake and turn signals with led lights to match the front and put over 800 miles on it. and then sadly put it away for four months into a storage unit with my truck!

 

Bought her a pair of GSXR 4 Pot Calipers, Adapter Plates, and EBC HH Pads....

She's happy! (I haven't told her I'm cutting off her toolbox yet) LOL

 

I installed a Targa FE kit...I'm definitely happy with it.

 

Oiled the chain, checked the tire pressure, changed the blinker fluid and I left for a 200km ride.

Bought a 2007 GSXR 600 front wheel with rotors off Craigslist for $200. I thought I was being clever until about 30 minutes into my road trip to get it 1.5 hours away; I realized I wasn't getting a good deal because I would be missing about $100 worth of work if I stayed at home, plus gas money and the possibility of getting a speeding ticket... and I had to sit in traffic part of the way. Now, if I find the rotors are warped when I install them, I won't have any recourse like I would if I'd bought them off eBay... which would have only cost ~$350 shipped probably. IDIOT!!

 

Just got my Suburban Machinery type 2 bars and put them on today along with TecSpec tank grip pads...

 

Changed the oil, topped off the coolant, checked tire pressure, washed it, got one of the ex's confused because she thought I had a silver bike with red rims.

 

Put motosliders on! Easier to do than I thought, was a little worried that bolt held some of the engines weight and I was gunna have a hell of a time gettin it out and the new one in.

My dream

 

Changed the oil and filter yesterday, rode it to and from work then adjusted the chain and washed it. Now it's happy again.

 

I removed the ugly ass orange and white warning sticker on top of the fuel tank.
What a pain in the @ss.

 

Fitted the new Nelson Rigg saddle bags and the Recon 19 tank bag. They both fit great, I can't wait to put some heavy use into them on the 5 day trip.

 

Washed her then installed my new custom fabed ss brake lines.Lever`s like a rock!

came back from the garage and my bike is one inch lower and I can finally officially flat-foot on my bike! woot!

 

I rode my bike to the HB doughnut shop, then went to NB Ducati and signed up to ride the Streetfighter for Saturday woo hoo!

Saturday at 9am - first one on the list!

 

Rode up on Seneca Lake for sunset last night.... great sun but major bug splat. Put another 150 miles on today going through rural upstate NY for work.
