RT emulators, 0.90 Eibach springs (i'm 185#), 95mm spacers, 10wt oil, 120mm air gap, 3 1/2 turns preload - lovely. firm thru choppy corners, no wandering, feel the irregularities of the pavement but bumps are not harsh. just the right amount of front end dip on braking - no big dive. sharper directional control in low speed turns. shoulda done this a LONG time ago!
yesssss!

Went to the hardware store and bought some 1/2" neoprene spacers for the tank. Took the snorkel out of the stock air box. Bought longer bolts to hold the tank down. Checked the mail box to find my rear brake pads and the Dzus clips for the Sharkskinz, which are due at my house Monday. So I installed and bled the rear brakes.

I repaired the damage I did by being a total f*cktard and dropping it in the garage after installing the my low-tone freeway blaster and relay last month (I was gone for 3 weeks). New glass in the left CRG mirror, and replaced the snapped clutch lever and brake lever with some Pazzo shorties.

I pulled off all the body work to send off to paint.

yesterday i put about 15 miles on it. today i did about 10 or so. went to the northwest motorcycle show, saw my exact same bike, just with a couple less miles than mine with a price tag of $4695! i feel great knowing that i paid 1000 less than that!

I just installed mine (like just now). I scored a set of calipers for about $26 shipped.

Bleeding was hard (I have a ABS bike). Here are some completed pics:

Haven't had a chance to test ride it yet. Gotta go take the pregnant wife and toddler out to eat...

Drained out the gas tank and wired up the tail light.

Just got back from an Intermediate Rider Training MSF class. It was a pretty good experience to go back a few months/thousand miles after the BRC to get some feedback. We had a pretty good mix of bikes in the class, everybody seemed pretty solid. Only one guy on a R6 that I might call squidly outside of the class.

Looking forward to a track day/school when I get down to Texas sometime over summer.

today I dropped mine off for a crash estimate. I was riding to rugby practice at night and even though I had scouted the route during the day, the school's maintenance crews had shoveled snow OFF the median INTO the turn. 30 mph lowside in a blind turn. Looks like around 1,200 in damages...sliders are in the mail, too.

Finished painting a fender. Have to mount it up still.
