Measured up some things for the motor conversion.

got 2 seat cowls off ebay to go with the new tail, now just need to find a corresponding rear seat for it (hard to find cheap on ebay). subframe arrives on friday, cowls arrive next week. time to start cutting the new subframe to fit the new tail and work on battery/electronics placement.

have some things to start pulling off to remeasure since there seems to be interest in my current undertail setup. also got some other things to remove for new paint & powdercoating.... time to build a paint booth in my basement!

Today is a happy day. The mailman just delivered my bar end mirrors, and the carbon fender should be here whenever UPS shows up.

Not really sure yet.
Im going to hit up some of the autobody-supply places and take a look. Might just remain white (in one form or another) with some accent colors or I might actually pick a color.

maybe I'll pull the trigger on my UPS brown concept

I should be getting a delivery for the Bar End Mirrors I ordered and the Fork Oil seals and Dust Seals.

I will be drilling out a stripped damping rod bolt to replace my springs, oil and seals. I talked to a machinist this morning to make sure I wasn't going in the wrong direction and there wasn't another "better" way of going.. (awesome guy, let me borrow 3 bits to get the job done correctly and walked me through the process)

I installed my ATRE, which worked awesome. Now I smell like exhaust, then I installed the left bar grip, worked great. Then I tried to install the right side grip and broke the throttle tube!! More parts to buy now. Then the mail lady droped off my frame sliders and I attached those too. Breaking the throttle tube gave me the excuse to buy my race mount exhaust bracket from Blair to cheer me up. Now I am better.

Installed LSL top triple, Pro taper handlebar, longer set of SS lines and cool remote reservoir holder thing. I need to modify my motovation bar ends and will be able to put the crg mirrors back on. Should happen this weekend. I enjoyed the clipons, but this handlebar makes the sv feel more like my supermoto. I'm getting a bit too comfortable kicking the back end out!

Made a killer BBQ pizza last night with Sweet Baby Rays, mushrooms and chopped black forest ham. To the right is the buffalo shrimp pizza.

Congrats on the protapers. Which model did you go with. I have the HON mini on mine. There very comfortable and I'm with you it feels more like a supermoto.
