Ordered 2 new tires for mine. Dunlop Roadsmarts. 120/60R17 front and 160/60R17 rear. I was gonna replace just the Tomahawk front that is on the bike as it sits now, and how it will be delivered to me, but I couldn't pass up the deal that cheapcycleparts.com has going right now, AND the svrider.com free shipping on top of it. $206 shipped to my door for the set.

206? I thought they were $221 or so... how'd you manage 206?

Or did you get something other than RoadSmarts?

Clean and lubed the chain, washed the bike, adjusted the clutch, filler her up with gas all after work and also road her to work today!!

No his math is very bad, $97.98 + $123.70 = $221.68

Haha well.. that's what I thought the price was.... but even at 221.68 if they did free shipping to Canada I'd jump on it.. even though I probably won't really need new tires for a while.... but these stockers are just bad tires... I'd love to get rid of them...

That was the number that Rick told me when I called him tonight. $206 even.

I did the math too and came up with that $221 and change before calling Rick @ cheapcycleparts.com, then he told me $206. I'm not gonna argue about saving $15.

4300k hids
looks different in person, stock it was way yellower then the pics show and the hids in person are white and have zero bluish tint. oh well im very happy with them. not as much glare as i expected but i dont ride at night anyways, i was just looking for some more daytime "noticeability" and getting rid of the cheap yellow look. and before the haters come out, yes i fully understand the concept of lighting and halogen housing vs. proper projector. :nana:

on a side note, i noticed i have some nifty mirror spacers. i always wondered why everyone complained about the mirrors sucking so bad because mine were good lol

Just finished putting on my smoked color Galfer lines and speed bleeders.

First time bleeding brakes, and while it took forever, it wasn't too bad. Speed bleeders definitely helped once I got the air out of the lines. Get to ride tomorrow and see how the new brakes and springs/oil work out.

Lol Eddie.

We are supposed to get 4-8" on Tuesday, I may just have to ride on wet roads or not ride at all until my vacation comes around.

Rode to Florida National to visit with my loved ones I miss so much.

Then down to Tampa and back home to pester you all.
Other than riding I got up early to put an inline fuse and relay to my horns. I was tired of replacing fuses.

She's Alive!!!!!

Got everything buttoned up. Tried to start her without hooking up the tank, lol. Figured that out, took about 3-5 min to get the air out of the fuel lines but she runs. By time I got her running the parking lot was a skating rink so no test ride. And Tuesday we are supposed to get 4-8" of snow. At least she runs and re-fires without hesitation.

Congrats on the completion of the project Kelley!

Thanks Nate. I got the nut and bolt, thank you very much. The new owner of the shock will really appreciate it.

It's supposed to be 28 today, if I can get her out of the apartment parking lot without dropping her I might be able to get a test ride in today.

Re: What did you do to your SV today (yesterday)

New chain & oil/filter change.

I found the EK blue chain for only $5 more than the regular chain so thought I would give it a try. Now that it's on, my feeling is that the shade of blue is a little :gay:. I'm also disappointed that the master link was not colored the same as the other links on the chain. I do have to say that working with a riveted chain really wasn't verty troublesome though.

Spent a lot of time cleaning the crap from accumulated grease from the wheel (Though it's still far from perfect). I'm going for the chain wax from now on.

Between that and having to make a trip to Wal-mart because some douche had put the wrong filter in the box, I didn't get much riding time yesterday. Shame as it was a nice day here yesterday and cold today :(

Pics for anyone who wants to see what it looks like.
