Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Got stuck working late.........so........

I pulled the bike inside, bled the brakes and changed out the fluid.

Goodbye and good riddance to wooden spongey brakes!

You can say that again! Just flushed the fluid on my 08S and you would have thought the Tokikos were swapped out for 4 piston Brembos. Couldn't believe the difference in responsiveness.

Also installed the atre from Steve. This replaces pulled timing in 1-3 gears. Wow! 2500 rpms has pulling power!

Removed forks from bike, hung forks overnight to drain all the 20wt oil. Switched my Race Tech emulators for a set of Ricor Intiminators & 5wt oil. I was skeptical about them but they are much better than emulators. Wheel stability in turns makes riding on the street fun again.

Now I'm not going to do a 43mm R6 fork swap. Would 100% recommend these valves.

This is the new Thunderbird, no other dealer has one right now (1600 parallel twin). Wanted the Triumph girl to sit on the bike for a picture, instead I got this:

Buddy came by to pickup a K&N for his Busa. We went for a rip around town, and went home!

I finally installed my home-made clear clutch cover. (needed oil changed anyway)

I sort of wish I had sprung for the fancy retainers and bolts in the group buy, it looks sort of plain and cheap inside. :p Oh well, here it is anyway....
