Picked up this (instead of buying the house like I had hoped)... The bike I've wanted for a while, and with job security not the greatest, I decided I would rather have a $5k obligation (got a steal of a deal on this bike) than the $200k obligation of a house at the moment

So here it is, thanks to snatfinder (for buying back his sv from me with a few upgrades), here she is - 2005 Triumph Speed Triple

Still hanging around here though, lurking as usual :thumbsup:

Looks fantastic. I am in the same boat as you, want a new bike but I want to buy a house too while the market is in the pooper and interest rates are low. But my bike would be an 1125R. There is an 08 just sitting at work that I can get for cost plus $800 back from Buell. Too tempting

what a ******* great machine. i think i'm scared to move to a street triple, let alone the 'speed'... i mean wheelies off the throttle in 3 or 4 gears, that's not about going out for milk.

awesome bike, i was a big fan of the sv you owned as well, that was a good looking machine.
