I know that the voltage regulator outout should be between 13.5 and 15 volt at 5000 rpm... But what the output should be at idle???

I ask that because my regulator behave strangely. At idle I have 13.6V but only 12.7V at 5000 rpm. I know that the output at 5000 rpm is out of spec.... But is it normal that the output drop as the rpm get higher???

Battery was fully recharged.

if the batteyr is fully charged, it should be putting out 13 volts, where your only getting 12.7, my guess is that the RR is fried, and the power required to run the engine & lights has already sucked it down to 12.7

The 13.6V at idle and the 12.7V at 5000 rpm were mesured at the battery...
