Have you tried seeing what your dealer normally stocks and how much shims cost from them? If you were able to inspect your shims and see what you need and just buy those from the dealer it could be much less

OEM shims are ~$8 each. Yes, each.

Yes, you can do that, but you'll likely be waiting weeks for them to come in.

Unless, like my dealer, yours has a few Hot Cam kits laying around, and they will sell you what you need from them, and basically make up their own price. You might even be able to make a straight up trade with your old shims, if the service guy is feeling generous.

Yes, you still taking chance that your bike may have 1.80 or 1.85 in there.
80% of sv's are 165-175, others may be 2-3 sizes up or down.
Personally I would rather buy two refills, 1.50-1.75 and next one up than whole kit where you never use most of them and are short on those you may need.
Call local dealer and ask if they would exchange?
Time to resurrect this dead thread!

Was wondering if anyone knows the part number for the refil kit that has shims of 1.50-1.75 ? I gave a look and only was finding 5pks of the same size shim.. not multiple per pack..
