My '04 N model has the standard footpeg location and I simply find the pegs too high and too far rearward. I've never been completely happy with the riding position. I've tried the usual fixes such as Buell pegs but that's not enough of an improvement. My other bike [a KLR] feels perfect to me, so perfect that I don't want to ride the SV any longer.

Although I love the SV, especially the engine, I'm ready to sell it because of this issue. Before I do I'm trying to find out if the foot control package from a V storm 650 can be installed on my gen 2 SV ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yep, tried them. The problem as I see it is that I need the footrests and control levers moved forward at least 4 inches, preferably 5.

I don't think it'll be a direct bolt on but that's just looking at pics online. I'm not even sure you'll get the 4-5" change either.

Maybe a member who owns both like @OfirMX can measure for you?

Maybe I should just buy a V Strom. I suspect a fair amount of fabrication will be needed, don't know if I want to get into a major project on this.
Thanks for the response.
