Hello,

I just fiinished playing with my PCIII with Iginition Module. After fiddling with the which map i was going to run i then looked at the Ignition map. Now all this module does it adjust what the computer is sending out. So if you put in +1 it adds one degree of timing to whatever the computer sees fit. Now I went through and added 1 degree from 1750 to 4000. Then 2 degrees advance for 4050 to 7000 then 3 degrees for 7050 to 11000. It seemed to pull a lot harder and had a lot crisper throttle response. I already run the high test (93) and have an M4 Full exhaust. Now from previous experience with auto engines, when i added headers, i was able to boost the timing, In fact my fuel injected car needed it to keep the computer happy. And a while ago one of the best carb tuner's i have come across told me that preignition starts in the exhaust valve. So am i crazy and getting ready to buy a new piston or what? Thanks
