uh oh, tach needle not correct...

so, i replaced the LEDs for my tach and LCD... i thought i put everything together correctly, but when i turn the key on for power, my tach needle sits at 1000 rpm instead of at 0...

is there a special way i should "fix" this or just take it off and put it back on in a diff position to adjust for it?

im kinda hopin there is some magical way to get it to adjust itself...

Turn the power on, and then put your needle on. Then it will be set to Zero. Know what I mean?
thanks... i was trying to avoid taking the gauge back apart so as i could be lazy, but i did exactly that... opened her up and turned her on then adjusted.
Been there /done that :) Changed tach decal on my first gen.

I did the same mod as well. You can buy those little LED lights for nothing. I did blue and added a illumiglo gauge as well.
yeah, i actually program machines to populate circuit boards for a living so i had easy access to all the parts plus! lol
