In the 90s LTV Steel (itself a "dead-company-walking" of the Jones & Laughlin and Republic Steel companies) went belly-up. The plants went through a series of sales and re-emerged as property of Arcelor-Mittal.

We've been hearing about all the infrastructure projects that will help us $pend our way to pro$perity. I thought they needed steel. I guess not.

Maybe our infrastructure projects will be mostly carbon fiber? Or perhaps paper mache'?:p
