The slip-on will do just fine all by itself. If you had a first gen, I'd tell you to re-jet the carbs. But it's been my experience that the 2nd gen runs a tad rich to begin with. Also the FI will handle the change in backpressure no sweat. You don't need an air filter (the K&N gives a really tiny boost in power- one that you will never notice.
