I just bought Vortex frame sliders for '05 SV650 and am looking for the torque value.

no instructions with it?

I'd try the manufacturer's web site... I'm sure if they have nothing on the site, you could contact them and get an answer...

but from what I've seen with others, most of the ones that go through the engine with the big long bolt are in the 50-60lb range... but I'm not saying vortex ones are the same

failing that I'd snug them down and give it another 1/4 turn or so depending on how it feels... that got me to about 50lbs when I measured it... as long as they are staying tight you should be good.. it is not like sliders are as crucial as some internal motor part or say something like the wheel nut... you have 2 other mounting points with the sliders as backups if it loosened off for some reason..

The 10mm engine mount bolts the Vortex sliders mount to is 40 ft-lb. I doubt the Vortex mounting hardware uses this bolt, but the 12mm thru engine bolt is 67.5 ft-lb.
