So in the process of trying to swap out my chain and sprockets I noticed that my rear calipers brake pads are leaning in towards the rotor even when the pistons are depressed. I removed the pins and pulled the pads to try to clean some stuff up and it still does it when reinstalled. Any suggestions to why this might be happening, or is it normal?

Without a picture my guess is normal. The way the pad's slide works they'll tend to wear more at the "top" (away from the pin's), as there's some allowable lean before the pad is pulled along down the pins....if that makes sense..

you can try adding some brake grease to the sliders or maybe the sliders are starting to get worn i just changed mine and they were pretty evenly worn
