I was thinking of going for it... ;D For my kid!!!

Tires would drop 2" inches each... I can get a custom rear sprocket from Sprocket Specialist... Mounting the disk caliper on the front will be a little tricky... I do have the master cylinder and caliper

;D The mod bug stings bad!!!

I already have a KTM adjustable WP rear shock in the little bike...

No I do not have any... Inly one I got is after we got home from riding...

He just started... We are working braking... Figure 8's, right and left circles.

He is doing ok, only crashed 2 times... Once making a tight turn and once under a desert bush... ;D

NOTE: He does have all his gear...

Good stuff, I just got into dirt last year and am enjoying the hell out of it.

Do you have or are you going to get a dirt bike to ride with him when he's ready to ride some gentle trails?

I was thinking of getting a little CR85L... Just to kick some dirt...

I saw somewhere one with a CR125 engine in a CR85L... That bike could get some air...

Maybe the GF can learn sone tricks on it too!!!

My little brother has that bike, we beat the snot out of it and it still keeps going.

I don't think I would invest the time or money in the wheels, he will be begging for something bigger/faster in no time. My brothers now also have a TTR-90, which is not much bigger but a lot more fun, and a TTR-125 which is really nice to ride. They also have a YZ80 now. The PW doesn't get used very much.

We are keeping the PW80 for when my son starts riding, maybe this summer.
