A 120/70 is done all the time. Wider rears are made for wider rims.
Tire sizes
So, I've got a 02 SV650S, but I'm wondering what sizes of tires I could fit this bike other than the stock rubber sizes of 120/60R17 and 160/60R17.
Could a 120/70R17 fit the front? And, how wide can I go on the rear without having to make modifications, and possibly have the tire rub on something?
