I have a new clipon on its way and I want to get everything ready to go so all I have to do is basically attach it to the bike. Can I just loosen the screws on the underside of the throttle housing and slide it off without having to remove the cables? The clipon will already be lifted off of the top triple. I don't want to have to mess around with adjusting the cables that attach underneath. The brake looks like all I have to do is remove one screw and loosen the other so I can remove it. The throttle housing on the other hand looks it can be a little more difficult. If I do have to back out the screws completely and seperate the two haves of the housing is there going to be anything that springs out at me that I need to be on the lookout for?

I've done it couple times. It's easy once you do it.
