Howdy peeps, I replaced a lot of lights and/or signals with LEDs and was researching many ways to get the flash rate slowed down.
Personally i don't like the idea of resistors because 1. they heat up, 2. they are bulky by the time you get sufficient wattage, and 3. they are basically wasting energy that your battery produces.
The alternative was to replace the flasher relay. Awesome! except, i do not like to cut wires on things such as that.
My final solution, i found while purchasing a relay actually. here is a link to the process with pictures:
