Apparently. What I was curious about was if the two banks of cylinders were somehow out of phase, which could be done in a way that would cancel vibes and make for smoother output. But with the left and right banks exactly in phase, it won't be any smoother than a regular 45° Harley twin.

My point was that the intended insult that you and the other poster left for anybody who wanted to purchase said engine causes me to doubt your passion for riding. Your two comments were typical for the anti-Harley lemming morass. Easier isn't always better. The V-Max engine wouldn't be easier; this one is very close to a bolt-on application. This isn't a Harley engine.

If I could afford it, I'd rock it.

Dude, in the first post about it I said I think it's cool. Saying it's not smooth or that it's kind of stupid doesn't mean it's not cool. By researching and posting that excerpt from Nelson I thought I was being helpful and providing information on an interesting engine. When I saw it from the outside I was curious if the two banks were in phase or out of phase, and when I saw your comment about smoothness I figured you were wondering the same thing so I found and posted the definitive answer from the designer.

I don't think I've been a promoter of Harley hate on this or any other forum - my shortlist got narrowed down to an XB9SX and Duke 690 before I finally decided to go with the Duke.

And I sure as f--k don't need my passion for riding assessed by you or anyone else.
