I'm looking into buying an ohlins rear shock to replace the GSXR1000 one i have in my bike at the moment. i looked on their website and was a little confused to say the least. whats all this 36p, 48h, 42s stuff all about?? whats the sv? i dont know which type of shock to go for as i dont know what type of shock the sv is!! if you know, please tell me, thanks

The 46PRCL is the standard Ohlins recommended model for the '03+ SV, which has a fixed reservior. You can also use the 46HRCL with the remote reservior. Just make sure you order it from a suspension shop that will get it set up specifically for you, you don't want to buy a new shock and have it be a generic off-the-shelf unit not valved and sprung for the SV.
